The 2016 NPCA Show in Nashville, TN proved to be successful for Elevate as we received second place in NPCA’s Creative Use of Precast (CUP) Awards for our innovative, patent-pending counterfort retaining wall. Our system was acknowledged for its use on the Illinois Tollway’s I-90 corridor improvement project where close to 200,000 square feet (up to 32 foot tall full height units, ~280 sf/unit) of our wall was installed on time and within budget. Judged on innovation, the Elevate system utilizes existing onsite clay/soil as opposed to special backfill other systems rely on.

Elevate’s precast concrete counterfort wall system has been approved by the Illinois Department of Transportation as a qualified modular retaining wall system for use in the state of IL. In order for a system to be used on IDOT projects they require this prequalification which is achieved through a stringent review process by the state.
